Cheyenne County, Nebraska Tornado Pictures from Sunday May 27, 2007
At 335 pm MDT on Sunday May 27, 2007, a short lived tornado touched down along County Road 149 in extreme east-central Cheyenne county Nebraska, 3.5 miles north of Lodgepole, or 18 miles east northeast of Sidney. The following pictures were provided to your National Weather Service office in Cheyenne by Kristine Bond.
Your National Weather Service has rated the tornado as an EF-1 (Enhanced Fujita-1) with winds estimated around 90 mph.
No injuries were reported, although some structural damage did occur.
