Mar. 19:  The blizzard of 2003 drew to a close on this day after leaving 1 to 2
                 feet of snow from far southeast Wyoming into the high plains of
                 Colorado.  Cheyenne recorded a total snowfall of 18.5 inches with
                 drifts over 7 feet high. 
               
           
Mar. 20:  On this day in 1987 a winter storm brought 11.0 inches of snow to
                 Douglas, Wyoming.               

Mar. 21:  On this day in 1944 a winter storm ended after producing 8.0 inches
                 of snow at Kimball, Nebraska, and 7.5 inches in Cheyenne.

                 It also snowed a nice 7.0 inches in Kimball on this day in 1981.                                                         

Mar. 22:  High winds blew across the area on this day in 1995 with Cheyenne
                 recording a peak gust of 70 mph.               

Mar. 23:  Another day with high winds occurred on this day in 1994 with a gust
                of 75 mph recorded in Cheyenne.

                Today is the first day of the year in which the temperature has never fallen
                below zero in Scottsbluff.  This is not to be confused with the latest day of
                the year that the temperature went below zero, which is April 20th, 1966.           

Mar. 24:  On this day in 1920 a 10.0 inch snowfall occurred in Scottsbluff, Neb. 

Mar. 25:  On this day in 1959 a winter storm brought Kimball, Nebraska its greatest
                 one-day snowfall with 18.0 inches.  The same storm also produced 12 inches
                 of snow in Scottsbluff, and 4.2 inches in Cheyenne.
