Much Cooler Weather On The Way

Much cooler weather is on the way towards southeast Wyoming and western Nebraska.  An upper trough of low pressure will sweep across our region Thursday and Friday, ushering in much cooler weather along with increasing chances for rain.

A cold front will sweep south across Wyoming and Nebraska on Thursday.  High temperatures on Thursday will be in the 60s and 70s.  A cool night will occur Thursday night as the mercury dips into the 40s and 50s.  Friday will feel downright autumnal with high temperatures only in the 60s to lower 70s.   Another cool night is anticipated Friday night with low temperatures in the 40s.  HIghs will continue in the 60s to lower 70s on Saturday.

Rainfall chances will increase markedly Thursday night, Friday and Saturday as the upper trough slides south across Wyoming along with the associated cloud cover and precipitation.
