August Climatology for Cheyenne, Laramie, Rawlins, Alliance, Scottsbluff, Chadron and Sidney

Please see the following table for August Climatology for Cheyenne, Laramie, Rawlins, Alliance, Scottsbluff, Chadron and Sidney.  As you can see, the record highest temperature in August for all of the locales was a blistering 108 degrees at Chadron on August 6th, 1980.  The record lowest temperature in August for all of the locales was a shivering 25 degrees at Cheyenne on August 25th, 1910.  Cheyenne had the record highest daily precipitation with 6.06 inches on August 1st, 1985, during the infamous Cheyenne flash flood.  The highest average maximum temperature is 88.4 degrees at Alliance and lowest average maximum temperature is 77.4 degrees at Laramie.  The highest average minimum temperature is 58.1 degrees at Chadron and the lowest average minimum temperature is 46.0 degrees at Laramie.  The highest average precipitation is 2.25 inches at Sidney and the lowest average preciptation falls in Rawlins with 0.81 inches.
