U.S. Department of Education Mentoring Resource Center
The Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools (OSDFS) has established the Mentoring Resource Center to provide grantees funded under the Mentoring Program (84.184B) with training and technical assistance, as appropriate, in the management and implementation of their projects, and to ensure their capacity to sustain their efforts over time. The Center will provide a variety of services, including training events, publications related to best practices, distance learning, and resource sharing opportunities. The Mentoring Resource Center is a collaborative effort between EMT Associates, Inc., located in Folsom, CA, and the Northwest Regional Education Laboratory, located in Portland, OR. Both organizations have extensive experience in providing guidance, learning opportunities, and informational support to youth mentoring efforts.
