ACCP: specific AOML objectives

Specific AOML objectives include:

1) Quantifying the seasonal-to-decadal variability in the climate system due to interactions between the Atlantic Ocean and the global atmosphere.

2) Verifying ocean and coupled ocean-atmosphere models using available Atlantic data.

3) Observing and describing the space-time variability of the large-scale circulation and internal temperature and salinity fields of the Atlantic Ocean and determine their relation to sea surface temperature and salinity.

4) Developing sampling strategies for climatically important Atlantic Ocean processes and features.
