AAMC Names New Chief Health Care Officer
Joanne Conroy, M.D., executive vice president of Atlantic Health System and chief operating officer of Morristown Memorial Hospital, will be the association's new chief health care officer. Dr. Conroy will join the AAMC on October 1. (Sept. 2, 2008)

AAMC Launches Organizational Performance Improvement Initiatives
The AAMC has begun to implement four pilot projects to help medical schools and teaching hospital improve their management and organizational effectiveness.
