Indonesia's Ministry of Defense Website includes links to the Indonesian Armed Forces (Tentara Nasional Indonesia), Army (TNI-Angkatan Darat), Navy (TNI-Angkatan Laut), Air Force (TNI-Angkatan Udara), and related departments. The site is easy to navigate using frames with a menu bar on the left.

This page of the International Center for Transitional Justice's web site contains information specifically about Indonesia. There is information about this organization's activities in the country as well as links to background information and reports.

Background leading up establishment of the Commission in 1993, guiding principles, goals, and organizational structure and leaders. Includes activities of the Commission as well as speeches of President Suharto. Some articles and some news briefings bring information current. Not all documents are translated into English, primarily in Indonesian. Includes newsletter, Wacana HAM (nos. 6-13).

Run by the municipal government, the exceptional site provides a great deal of information about the city of Samarinda, the capital of Kalimantan Timur. It has pages about government, business, culture, statistics, and current events as well as photos and maps.

Run by the Research School of Asian and Pacific Studies at Australian National University, this project encourages scholarship and dialogue on political science in Melanesia. The project emphasizes Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and Fiji but also includes Papua/Irian Jaya and Timor in the culturally related region to the west and Pacific Islands countries to the east and north. Its web site contains information about its staff, publications, conferences and seminars, as well as full text documents of papers on politics within the region.
