LAMP Change Notice

MONDAY AUGUST 24, 2006

 

Attention LAMP users:

Effective on Monday, August 28, 2006 the GFS-LAMP guidance meteograms will be replaced with a new format. The JAVA Virtual Machine will be utilized to allow the user to customize the meteograms to their own preferences. Previous and verified forecasts along with Thunderstorm guidance will be represented on the new meteograms. Text bulletins for the corresponding station will also be able to be viewed from the new page. See an example screenshot below.



To access the meteograms once they become available see http://www.nws.noaa.gov/mdl/gfslamp/meteoform.php

To access the meteograms for a specific site, the link below can be used. Substitute the station's call letters for STATION.
