LAMP Change Notice

Attention LAMP users:

Effective 2100 UTC June 6, 2006 the GFS-LAMP guidance for precipitation type will be available for the Alaskan stations. In general precipitation type will be available for only Alaskan stations during the period of June 1 through August 31. From September 1 through May 31 GFS-LAMP precipitation type guidance will be available for all GFS-MOS stations that provide guidance for precipitation type.

Please note that these products are still in the experimental stage, and are not supported operationally. Please let us know if you notice any problems.
