Research Technologies Branch

The Research Technologies Branch develops and provides state-of-the-art research technologies to the Intramural Research Program of NIAID through a network of 10 groups. Scientists in the Branch also provide training and consulting on all aspects of the technology, including experimental design, laboratory protocols, and analysis of results. To reach these goals, the Branch:

  • Develops and provides state-of-the art technologies to NIAID intramural researchers that are useful today
  • Provides technology consultation to NIAID intramural researchers
  • Provides training to NIAID intramural researchers
  • Keeps abreast of new developments
  • Develops new technologies and applications
