    GEI LogoGeorgia Education Initiatives, Georgia Learning Connections, and Georgia Department of Education
    The Georgia Department of Education and Georgia Learning Connections (GLC) have formed partnerships, called Georgia Education Initiatives (GEI), among specialized nonprofit or government organizations (e.g., CDC) and educational groups (e.g., the National Science Center) to provide educational resources and programs for teachers. A section of GLC is dedicated to GEI. The following links provide additional information about these programs, partnerships, and organizations:

    These partnerships provide a wealth of information and curricula for teachers to increase their resource network. This in turn provides students the opportunity to learn more about public health and related careers.
