SUBJECT:                     Northeast Region Outreach Meeting


The 2008 Northeast Region Outreach Meetings have been scheduled. These meetings will be held in two locations in October and November 2008. Outreach Meetings are designed to benefit Chief Executive Officers of supervised thrifts. The meetings provide an excellent opportunity to discuss industry challenges and examination related issues.

Facilitating the meeting, from OTS, will be Regional Director Michael Finn and Regional Deputy Director Michael Simone. Each Outreach Meeting will begin at 9:00 am with a Continental Breakfast, and conclude at approximately noon.

Feedback from previous sessions indicate that the meetings have been an excellent format for group discussions of current events, and agency issuances. They have been very helpful to our understanding of industry concerns, and trust that they have been mutually beneficial.

There is no registration fee for the Outreach Meetings:

Invitations and registration forms are also available on the OTS website at www.ots.treas.gov under “Events.” Please list on the registration form, any topics you would like to discuss at the meeting. A confirmation letter, including directions, will be sent to registered individuals prior to the sessions. Casual business attire is appropriate.
