Who are We?
UCP of Eastern Connecticut is a non-profit agency founded in 1947. It was originally founded to provide supports for children with cerebral palsy. The ''Little White Schoolhouse,'' a school for children with any disability was operated by UCP until 1992.

Today we offer adult day programs, residential programs, community outreach, an adaptive toy library and advocacy. Our staff is well trained, professional and committed to our Mission.

Our focus is on individualizing community based services to meet the needs and choices of the individual. Our expertise is in meeting the needs of people who have medical challenges along with physical and developmental disabilities.

Our Board members, staff and, most importantly, the people receiving services, are available to answer questions and/or arrange visits. Please feel free to call for additional information.

Volunteer Opportunities
Individuals like yourself are continually needed for a variety of volunteer opportunities. People are needed to visit one-to-one with individuals with disabilities throughout the Eastern region, serve on committees for fundraising events and serve on our Board of Directors.
