DC 20250-1042	Policy:	Policy: This is a reminder that all participants/cooperators are required to adequately insure all capital goods (nonexpendable property) and promptly report any loss to the insurance company. The cost of this insurance is reimbursable under the MAP and FMD. Participants/cooperators are responsible for uninsured losses or theft and shall reimburse CCC/FAS for the value of the property at the time of the loss or theft of the property per 7 CFR 1485.23(d)(3) and 11 FASG 402.1(a). A participant/cooperator must retain and make available to the FAS Compliance Review Staff upon request adequate documentation related to the proper disposition of all accountable property.
