The Legal Basis of Public Health—Licensing
Module 4 of 10 of CDC’s Legal Basis of Public Health is designed to help public health professionals understand licensure and its legal effects. It also covers the authority a public health agency has to enforce licensure requirements and standards and what procedures must be followed in administering a licensure program. The module consists of text and self-study exercises, a self-check review, and group exercises.
