I'm glad you asked about the illustrations, Barb, because I really liked
them.  The Lab School drawing on the cover of 8A is quite clever!  I like,
too, how Mary included some of the actual vocabulary that was discussed in
the articles in the drawings.

I think that the artwork is a real nice touch.  It makes FOB seem more
accessible, more inviting.
