Gifts In-Kind

The gifts in kind program is designed to provide agencies in need of donations that will help to support their operational capacity and infrastructure needs, such as office supplies, furniture, computer hardware and software, and more.

MOVE serves as a liaison between donors and agencies in need and will assist in connecting the two parties.  All donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated.  If you are interested in making an operational capacity and infrastructure donation, please contact MOVE at 505-767-5815, dsaine@cabq.gov.  To donate other items, please see available community locations in the table below.

 

Albuquerque Opportunity Center for the Homeless, 715 Candelaria Blvd. N.E.  We provide supportive services to help residents move on to stable, more permanent, and affordable housing.  To learn more about us, please visit our website at http://www.abqaoc.org. The AOC staff provide an uplifting, safe environment that enables and empowers each resident to become self-sufficient. We desperately need shampoo, conditioner, and other toiletries. We are also looking to replace our wooden nightstands with metal or plastic ones.  Contact:  Jaime Baxter, 505-344-2323. www.abqaoc.org) 


Cornucopia Adult Day Care, 2002 Bridge S.W. We provide adult day services for elderly and/or developmentally disabled persons. To learn more about us, please visit our website at http://www.cornucopia-ads.org.  We are in desperate need of the following items:

* Locking file cabinets with drawers that can hold 20-30 3” ring binders
* Nice furniture for our reception area
* Lockers for use by our clients and staff

Cuidando Los Niños. We provide high quality childcare for very young children experiencing homelessness. To learn more about us, please visit our website at http://www.cuidandolosninos.org.  We are in desperate need of 3 digital cameras (one for each classroom). The children enjoy seeing pictures of themselves and their surroundings.  Contact: Katie Sonnen, katies@clnkids.org, 505-843-6899.

Backinuse.com is dedicated to helping New Mexican's with disabilities get the equipment they need either for free or at very little cost. If you have a piece of adaptive equipment sitting around post it to the site - so we can make sure it gets Backinuse! If you need something, we also want you to post that to the site so we can help meet your need. To donate, sell or purchase equipment go to http://www.backinuse.com/.  You can also contact Lorie Pacheco Gulley, lorie.gulley@state.nm.us, 505-954-8529.
