Welcome to the North Tempe Multi-Generational Center!
The North Tempe Multi-Generational Center opened its doors on July 31, 2006.  North Tempe is truly a facility built on partnerships.  The center is a unique mix of public, private, and community based organizations.  Through these partnerships the center provides neighborhood and community services across the age continuum from preschool to older adult.


The 30,000 square foot facility includes:

Community Partners

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley offers a variety of programming for North Tempe residents including an after school program.  They also operate the youth & teen centers during the weekends.  Call 480-858-6520 for membership information. 

Tempe Community Action Agency manages the senior programs at North Tempe.  Services include: congregate lunch program, educational programs, exercise programs, special events, and a home delivered meals program.  Call 480-858-6510 for more information.

Maricopa County operates two classrooms through its Head Start program for North Tempe residents.  Enroll Today!  Call 480-464-9669.

The Tempe Family YMCA offers programming for all ages.  They also manage the gymnasium during the evening and weekend hours.  Call 480-730-0240 for further programming information.

The ASU College of Nursing & Healthcare Innovation offers healthcare for all ages through its clinic at North Tempe.  The clinic is one of five Nurse-Managed Health Centers managed by ASU.  Services are available Tuesdays 9-12am & 1-5pm, Wednesdays 10am-1pm.  For more information call 480-858-6527 or download flyer.

Laird School sits just east of the center and services K-6 graders.  The Laird Leopards utilize the gymnasium during the daytime hours for their physical education classes.  Laird is part of the Tempe School District No. 3.  Call 480-941-2440 to reach the Laird office.

Chicanos por la Causa provides educational programs for youth and adults at the North Tempe Center.  Call 602-695-3501 for more information.
