Wild land fire drill planned
Emergency responders from the Laboratory, Los Alamos County Fire Department, National Forest and National Park services and the Bureau of Indian Affairs will hold a drill on April 5 to focus attention on interagency cooperation, restrictions and intra-agency communications in the event of a wild land fire.
Students’ Association helps students find housing
Every year the Laboratory’s Students’ Association helps students find short-term summer housing through the Housing Connection, an initiative that allows individuals from surrounding communities to post a room, house or apartment rental on the association’s Web site.
