Drugs included are:

  • Antibiotics (0.8, 0.1)
  • Cardiovascular (1, 1)
  • Opioids (0.4, 0.3)
  • NSAIDS (0.4, 0.6)
  • Diuretics (0.6, 0.9)
  • Antidepressants (0.2, 0.2)
  • Hypoglycemics (0.2, 0.4)
  • Anticoagulants (0.2, 0.4)
  • Antiseizure (0.1, 0.2)

Notes:

Half of the 65+ patients on Cardiovascular drugs which accounts for its high volume of ADE's.
Antibiotics also are very common, but far fewer ADE's.
In contrast, Anticoagulants are 1/7th as common, yet have a relatively high rate of ADE's.
