Rural Systemic Initiatives (RSI)

The Rural Systemic Initiatives is focused on improving science, mathematics, and technology education in elementary, secondary, and higher education. RSI is particularly concerned with improving education for students in rural and economically disadvantaged regions of the nation. A Tribal College component within the Rural program provides funding for leaders in tribal colleges and universities to reform mathematics, science, and technology education in kindergarten through 12th grade schools within their service areas.
