GSA Publishes 2001 Edition of the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance
July 23, 2001 Washington, DC - Are you looking for federal grants or loans for flood control, food and nutrition programs, education and training, or small business development? Or how about help for community development programs, child care, or mental health research? These are just a few of the Federal assistance programs described in the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance published by the U.S. General Services Administration. The online Catalog always contains the most current information. It is available at www.gsa.gov/cfda, or through FirstGov.gov. The 2001 Catalog contains information on more than 1,450 domestic assistance programs sponsored by 57 Federal departments and agencies. It includes qualification requirements and suggestions for writing grant proposals. Designed to make finding information easy, the Catalog's four indexes (agency, function, subject, and applicant eligibility) will help you quickly locate potential Federal assistance for your specific need. For each program listed, the Catalog provides: program objectives and goals, Beginning in 2001, the December Catalog Update will no longer be published in print. The Government Printing Office subscription price has been reduced to $60.00 per domestic subscription, and $75 if mailed to an address outside of the United States.
