GSA Makes Search for Information EasyGSA# 9581 May 17, 1999 Washington, DC -- "Your Search Made Easy" is the theme of the U.S. General Services Administration exhibit at the 90th Annual Conference of the Special Library Association. The conference will be held June 6-8 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. About 8,000 special librarians from over 60 countries are expected to attend. Special librarians are information managers located in business, industrial, research, academic, government, association and not-for profit settings. "GSA responds to over a half million information inquiries each month," said Jerry Varner of GSA's Federal Procurement Data Center. "We value the opportunity to show so many special librarians what we have to offer. We want librarians to be aware of GSA's information resources because librarians are the people who provide face-to-face, first-level support to a vast number of people."
