Who We Are
The Technology Opportunities Program (TOP) is a highly-competitive, merit-based grant program that brings the benefits of digital network technologies to communities throughout the United States. TOP awards matching grants to public and non-profit organizations to demonstrate practical applications of telecommunications and information technologies.
To date, TOP has awarded 610 grants, in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, totaling $233.59 million and leveraging $313.7 million in local matching funds.
