Applications Administrator (22096) for the Information Technology Division. The Enterprise Collaboration Administrator is responsible for planning, designing, implementing and maintaining the Lab's enterprise collaboration services and assisting with new technology deployment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining applications and services, as well as resolving matters with vendors.

Computing Sciences Safety Coordinator (21978) for the Computing Sciences Directorate. This position plays a key role in a collaboration with Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) Division to ensure safety in the Computational Research and NERSC divisions.

Computational Scientist Postdoctoral Fellow (21289) for the Computational Research Division. This position is supported by the Helios project (http://pbd.lbl.gov/energy/) at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. The successful candidate will study the electronic structure and optical properties of nanosystems and inorganic/organic composite systems. The physical problems include the electron/hole localizations, exciton and charge transport in nanosystems, exciton dissociation, semiconductor/metal nanocontacts, nano surface and interface atomic structures. The incumbent will use a variety of large scale ab initio computational tools to study the above problems.

Computer Systems Engineer (21613) for the Computational Research Division. The LBNL Future Technologies Group (FTG) does research in high-performance computing (HPC) technology for petascale systems, including work in compilers, operating systems, runtime systems, performance analysis and modeling, benchmarking and performance engineering of scientific application programs.

Head of the Institutional Infrastructure Department (22016) for the Information Technology Division. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer/Director of the Information Technology (IT) Division, the Department Head is responsible for the planning and management of Berkeley Lab’s networking, telecommunications, storage systems and support, and computing and communications facilities.

Help Desk Specialist (21584) for the Information Technology Division. As a member of the Information Technology User Support Department's Help Desk, provide assistance to employees at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory by phone and/or the use of remote desktop management software. Process requests for help that come in through electronic mail, web or phone.

PeopleSoft Systems Engineer (22247) for the Information Technology Division. As a member of the Information Technology Division’s Institutional Systems Department, participate in the ongoing implementation, enhancement, and integration of our PeopleSoft financial application suite, including the development and implementation of new, PeopleTools-based applications.

Postdoctoral Researcher (21475) for the Computational Research Division. The Center for Computational Sciences and Engineering has a number of openings for postdoctoral researchers to work on the development of high-resolution numerical algorithms for partial differential equations and their application to a variety of areas of interest to DOE. Senior Systems Administrator (21831) for the Information Technology Division. This position will serve as a Senior Systems Administrator in the Central Infrastructure Support Group that manages the Laboratory's mission essential computing environment providing IT services to the Laboratory's users.

Server Team Engineer (22245) for the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC). Perform system analysis and specify, install, configure, test and tune NERSC Linux and FreeBSD general servers including email, LDAP, Web, DHCP, and license servers in a 24 x 7 production environment.
