Hello from We Can!
Hello from We Can! We are pleased to be able to bring you periodic snapshots on program activity from around the country. We Can! is a national public education outreach program promoted collaboratively among four Institutes of the National Institutes of Health to help children maintain a healthy weight. We Can! provides activities and programs that encourage improved nutritional choices, increased physical activity, and reduced screen time in youth ages 8-13. We Can! is unique among other youth obesity-prevention initiatives in its focus on helping parents, families, and communities. I want to acknowledge the tremendous efforts of the We Can! communities already signed on and to thank the many national partners and supporting organizations for their support. Visit the We Can! Web site to learn more about the We Can! resources and how you can make a difference in your community and for your own family.
