NMFS Northeast Regional Office N E W SFishery Closure Extended NOAA Fisheries Service will retain a closure of federal waters north of Cape Cod to the harvest of most bivalve mollusks through December 31, 2005. The southern portion of the original closure area was reopened to most bivalve mollusk harvest on September 9. The entire area was initially closed in June, and remains closed to the harvest of whole and/or roe-on Atlantic sea scallops.
