Treasury Check Information System

The Treasury Check Information System (TCIS)

Enrollment

The Treasury Check Information System (TCIS) was fully implemented on June 1, 2006. TCIS is accepting enrollment applications from all Non-Treasury Disbursing Offices (NTDOs), Treasury Disbursing Offices (TDOs), Federal Reserve Banks (FRBs), and Federal Program Agencies (FPAs).

Users can enroll into TCIS by requesting a form from the TCIS Enrollment Team, Self registration in the Treasury UPS System, or contact the Agency's OSA (when applicable). For more information and/or to receive a copy of the form please email the TCIS Enrollment Team at TCISInfo@fms.treas.gov or contact Laverne Grant at (202) 874-7211.

All users are required to go through the TCIS Enrollment process and agree to the Rules of Behavior. This process includes determining the level of access required. The user can select the role to view only access, create a claim, and/or access to Transmittal Control and Disbursing Office Maintenance Subsystem (TCDOMS).

Users are also asked to indicate the type of credentials they will be using: extranet (user ID and password) over a dedicated connection to FMS. Extranet users will receive credentials via email.

Internet (Public Key Infrastructure (PKI); FOB containing user ID and password). PKI users will receive their fob via FedEx from FMS.
