THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a request for proposals, but a sources sought notice to locate potential small business sources. This announcement constitutes the only notice; a written request for quotation will be issued directly to those small businesses that have the capability and are interested in supporting this effort. The Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, is seeking Small Business sources ONLY that are capable of providing Janitorial and Ground Maintenance services at 2001 SOUTH SEASIDE AVE. SAN PEDRO CA 90731 in accordance with the draft Performance Work Statement and Frequency of Service chart. This announcement will serve as a first step in determining the number of small business sources available, capable and interested in supporting this effort. Responses to this announcement should include your firm’s capability and business size to determine if you are capable of providing the services. The information your firm provides should have enough information for the Government to make an informed decision. The estimated period of performance is 12 months from the date of award. This requirement will not be set aside as a direct 8(a) award, because we have to allow Ability One (formally NISH/NIB) to perform a future assessment of the requirement and impact on small businesses in the San Pedro, California area. There will be no discussions or questions answered concerning this Sources Sought. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. All Small Businesses capable of providing these services are invited to respond. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this Sources Sought Notice is voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information submitted regarding this sources sought notice. This announcement should not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract.
