BRIEFING pages
The National Weather Service office in Tucson Arizona has created several weather briefing pages to provide you with easy access to weather graphics and information that pertains to specific weather events. These pages contain a set of graphics and text information that details weather parameters for specific weather events.

Current - This briefing page gives an overview of current weather conditions. This page contains links to text products like area forecast discussions, regional weather summaries, and short term forecasts. Graphics are provided for surface conditions from close in to Arizona out to the North America scale. Latest satellite and radar images are also provided.

Forecast - This briefing page gives an overview of forecast weather conditions. This page contains links to text products like area forecast discussions, zone forecasts and hazardous weather outlooks. Graphics are provided which show today's forecast map and projected surface features out to 7 days. Forecast QPF (Quantitative Precipitation Forecast) maps out to three days is also provided.
Severe weather - This breifing page gives an overview of current and forecast convective severe weather periods. This page contains links to text products like area forecast discussions, hazardous weather outlooks and any watch/warnings/advisories that may be in effect. The latest radar images are provided along with convective charts.
Winter weather - This breifing page gives an overview of current and forecast winter weather conditions across Arizona. This page contains links to text products like area forecast discussions, forecasts for specific high elevation locations and any watch/warnings/advisories that may be in effect. A link to temperature, precipitation and snowfall graphics is also provided. Graphics are provided which show surface forecast maps out to 7 days. Additional graphics of snowfall probablities is provided along with a wind chill chart.
Fire weather - This breifing page gives an overview of current and forecast fire weather conditions. This page contains link to text products like area forecast discussion and fire weather pre-suppression forecasts. Graphics provided included Day 1 fire weather outlook, current fire danger classification, fuel moisture maps and latest Haines index.
Heat - This page provided two color coded "HEAT INDEX" charts.
