...VERY STRONG WINDS ACROSS NORTHERN ARIZONA ON SATURDAY...

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM AND STRONG COLD FRONT BROUGHT VERY HIGH
WINDS TO NORTHERN ARIZONA ON SATURDAY. THE HIGHEST WINDS WERE
GENERALLY EAST OF FLAGSTAFF TO THE NEW MEXICO BORDER.
A HIGH WIND WARNING FOR THIS EVENT WAS ISSUED AT 338 PM ON
FRIDAY.

THREE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNINGS WERE ALSO ISSUED FOR PARTS
OF EASTERN ARIZONA THIS MORNING AND EARLY AFTERNOON. A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM WATCH WAS IN EFFECT ACROSS EAST CENTRAL
ARIZONA FROM 632 AM THROUGH 200 PM THIS AFTERNOON. NO REPORTS OF
LARGE HAIL OR DAMAGING THUNDERSTORM WINDS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED
WITH THESE STORMS.
