I live in the midwest and am very interested in finding out where I can get
training to become a literacy teacher or specialist.

Right now I am just starting in facilitating "literacy through book arts"
workshops. This is an extremely compelling concept, which combines creating a
physical book from a single sheet of paper and then writing and illustrating
a story within its pages. I've experimented and read and researched on my own.

However, I would like to know where to specifically get more literacy
training.

Thank you.
