(LVA), received a grant to adapt or develop a basic literacy assessment instrument to meet the needs of the volunteer literacy network in Florida. As a part of the grant, we are looking for an Assessment Development Specialist to develop the assessment instrument with accompanying instructions, and to manage the project. We hope that you might be interested in this consultant position, or that you might pass this information on to others who might be interested. The project funding is available immediately and runs through September 30, 1999, with the anticipation that second year funding will be made available for field testing and finalizing the assessment instrument.
