We are happy with our own professionals who form the core or our organization. However, currently we are expanding our education division into the wider Washington-Baltimore metro area. We are contacting the viewers of this list, and one or two others, first before looking elsewhere, as we have noticed an incredible amount of talented professionals participating in list discussions. We are also asking that if you are not interested, perhaps you could pass this call for professional help on to someone who might be interested. In general, we are seeking freelance writers, researchers, and other professionals that we can call on "ad hoc," and that also have the ability to work well as part of our team and also individually, as the need requires. This will not be steady work, but work predicated on the needs of our clients, and therefore subject to constant change. We are looking for professionals in the following categories: 1. Proposal writers experienced and educated in the field of education (and the social and behavioral sciences) with proven track record of success. 2. Staff and faculty professional development specialists who are also writers and who can provide requisite professional development in a variety of educational areas to teachers, administrators, and counselors in both private and public schools and colleges. 3. Writers, researchers, and other communication specialists who are experienced in the field of education (and the social and behavioral sciences) and have a proven track record of successful creation and publication of critical publications. 4. Graphic designers, photographers, and photo journalists who have successful experience creating, developing, and producing a wide variety of materials for and about educators. 5. Career counselors, researchers, and writers, experienced in education, who understand the vagaries of the employment market and can offer substantive counseling to groups and individuals of varied ages in education programs that include school-to-work transitions, at-risk employment, in-service training, and the like. 6. Financial advisors who are also writers and who can provide substantive training programs in personal finance to all levels of educators. 7. Statisticians and researchers who are also writers and who can provide clear and accessible accounts of qualitative and quantitative research projects to the wider educational and public audiences. 8. Professional researchers and educators working in education who are bi- or multi-lingual. Our immediate need is Spanish. 9. Master teachers K-12 who are interested in doing classroom research and writing, are available for freelance work during the work week, and who have experience in a wide variety of educational areas. 10. Educational policy analysts and writers who can work as part of a team and who are able to contribute to thoughtful and creative policy making as the need arises. Our general requirements for all free lance professionals for all responses are the following: Because of the nature of our work and our client base, we are looking for professionals with advanced or terminal degrees. However, if you are experienced with a proven track record, experience will be considered in lieu of education. Here is what we are looking for in your response: A. Please be sure to provide us with a summary of your working style, ability to get along with others, and availability for ad hoc freelance work. B. Please include 3 professional references that we can call now and that can attest to your skills and abilities in a meaningful way. C. Please provide us with your financial requirements: what you charge per hour, what other charges you require, and so on. D. Please provide us with your full resume or CV in a hard copy in print that we can keep. We will not be able to return any resumes or CVs. E. Please provide us with three hard copy or hard illustrations or samples of your work. These must be in a print form that we can keep. We will not be able to return samples. F. Please do not provide us with any other print or media material other than what we have requested. If we want more, we will let you know. Please send all replies to: Educational Professionals Employment Search Sinclair & Associates International, LLC Suite 308 South 3003 Van Ness Street, NW Washington, DC 20008-4718 We will read carefully and consider all responses to our call, and we will be in contact within the next 4 weeks with those people who best fit our requirements.
