As a teacher, I envisioned this section as a place where classroom teachers (and researchers) could post things they are using in their classrooms that work. This is both so that all of us can share good ideas with each other, but also, if you are doing something in your classroom based on research, you can let others know. It is also a place where researchers will look for ideas on things to research. I am looking for anyone who would like to contribute something to this section of the wiki or who knows of something that could be helpful to other teachers of ABE . One section I would like to have is for "experiments in progress." That is, if you are trying something (like blogs, or the new ABE wiki, or something else) you could keep us posted on how it is going. Please contact me if you would like to help organize this section of the wiki. Or just go directly to the Wiki and post something under the "classroom practices that work" section. The Wiki address is http://wiki.literacytent.org/index.php/Main_Page. Michele Craig Woodland Adult School shellcraig@ix.netcom.com
