Please take a moment to fill it out if you are an ESOL teacher. Thanks, Barb Garner ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Are you an ESOL instructor in an adult education or adult literacy program? If so, the TESOL Adult Education Interest Section (AEIS) would like you to complete a brief online survey. The purpose of this survey is to learn more about the working conditions of full-time and part-time ESOL teachers who work in the adult basic education and literacy system. ESOL teachers whose work is funded by national, state, or local adult education funds and those in noncredit community college and college programs for students not ready to enter postsecondary education meet the critieria for this survey. You do not need to be a TESOL member to complete the survey. This information will help the TESOL and our field to identify areas where action needs to be taken and plan advocacy efforts directed toward achieving equitable working conditions for teachers in adult education. The survey is available online at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=33385723995 The results of the survey will be shared at the 2005 TESOL convention in San Antonio, Texas, in the United States, and will also be posted on the electronic discussion lists used by adult education ESOL teachers. The survey is available online at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=33385723995 For more information, please contact Yilin Sun at yilsun@sccd.ctc.edu or Marilyn Gillespie at marilyn.gillespie@sri.com. Thank you very much for helping with this project. Please complete this survey by February 25, 2005.
