The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to procure on a sole source basis one (1) SFD-313V CEM Coaxial magnetron. The SFD-313V magnetrons sole source justification is based on compatibility of its unique physical and electrical specifications with the existing systems used in testing ground plane facilities. The item will be procured from the sole source manufacturer, Communication & Power Industries (CPI), Beverly Microwave Division (BMD), 150 Sohier Road, Beverly, MA 01915-5595. CLIN 0001--- One (1) Part # SFD-313V CEM Coaxial magnetron to fulfill MIL Standard 461 and MIL Standard 464 testing. Description: C-Band, tunable frequency, integral magnet, air cooled, 1000kW minimum peak power output. Specifications: Frequency band of 5400 MHz or C-Band and must be tunable within the frequency band that is listed, must have a Maximum pulse width of 5.0 usec and a minimum of .2 usec, and 1,000 hours/12 months warranty. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. The order shall be firm fixed price. FOB Destination, Dahlgren, VA shall apply.
