Historical Municipal Rates

The following chart may be helpful in viewing general historic trends for municipal rate loans.

This chart reflects historic quarterly municipal interest rates based upon information published by the 'Bond Buyer', as set forth in CFR 1714.5. As mentioned in this CFR, "average" interest rates covering a four week historical period for each quarter are then applied to municipal advances during the subsequent calendar quarter. These historical municipal interest rates are available for download in an Excel file format - download here.
