This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The California National Guard has a requirement to purchase 5 each 10-ton tripod jacks (part #02A7809-0110), 2 each 10-ton tripod jacks with air (part #02A7849-0120), 2 each jack pad adapters (part #R-1961), and 2 each manifold assembly kits (part #K-1106). All part numbers are drawn from Tronair. Vendors must provide a quote for equipment of equal or better quality in comparison to the part numbers listed above. All equipment will be shipped to Fresno, CA 93727. All quotes must include shipping costs. To be considered for award, offers of equal products, including equal products of the brand name manufacturer must meet the salient physical, functional, or performance charateristics specified in this solicitation. Vendors must clearly describe any modifications the offeror plans to make to the product to make it conform to the solicitation requirements. The following provisions and clauses are hereby incorporated: 52.212-1 - Instruction to Offerors - Commercial, 52.212-4 - Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, 52.212-5 - Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR). Quotes are due no later than September 29, 2008 before 2:00pm PST. Quotes may be submitted via fax to 805-594-6348.
