Recycling Collection Event for Covington and King County residents. See the event flier (PDF) for complete details.

Restrictions

No flat beds or dump trucks allowed. We reserve the right to refuse oversized, commercial, contaminated, excessive, or unacceptable loads. In addition, the following WILL NOT be accepted:

Paint
Pesticides*
Solvents and thinners*
Household chemicals*
Cleaning products*
Fluorescent lights*
Window Glass
Garbage
Painted wood
Grass, Leaves, Brush, etc.
Plastic toys, hoses, etc.
*The household hazardous wastes listed above are accepted at the Hazardous Wastemobile. The Wastemobile will visit Covington from May 2-4, 2008. View the Wastemobile schedule online or call the Hazards Line at 206-296-4692 for a list of locations.

Covington residents may use the South Seattle Transfer Station Haz Waste Shed located at:
8105 5th Ave South in Seattle
Open 9:30am-4:30pm, Thurs, Friday, and Sat.
