Remnants of Hurricane Rita

After landfall along the Texas/Louisiana border, the remnants of what was once Hurricane Rita moved northeast through the Ohio River Valley on September 25, and by early morning on the 26th, were located just northwest of Indianapolis. This system deposited some much needed rainfall across parts of central and southeast Illinois. Here are some rainfall totals from the storm.
