June 14, 2004 — WilmingtonSenator Carper, Congressman Castle and Wilmington Mayor James Baker visited the Wilmington Housing Authority for the presentation of a $1.3 million HOPE VI Grant from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. The money will be used to demolish 180 aged public housing units in Wilmington's Southbridge Extension community.
