Columbus Utilities - 50 Year Institutional Award

The National Weather Service presented a 25 year Institutional Award to Jim Sons and the Columbus Utilities. Columbus Utilities has faithfully maintained the Fisher Porter precipitation gage for the past 25 years. Jim has personally been managing the responsibility for the gage for the past 8 years. The NWS appreciates the efforts of Columbus Utilities and applauds this milestone. Presenting the award were Roger Kenyon, Hydro-Meteorological Technician and Mike Shartran, Data Acquisition Program Manager, Indianapolis IN. Pictured are Roger Kenyon (left) and Jim Sons (right). |
