Office of the Deputy Secretary (DS)

On November 15, 2007, Dr. Tevi David Troy was sworn in as Deputy Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). As Deputy Secretary, he is responsible for the operations of the largest civilian department in the federal government. Dr. Troy had previously served at the White House as Deputy Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy.
