Q : What happens if the civil surgeon finds I have a health condition that is considered a public health concern to the United States?

As a result of the medical exam, the Civil Surgeon may find that you have a health condition that is considered a public health concern to the United States.   These medical conditions can make you medically inadmissible or, in other words, barred from admission into the United States.    However, you may still be eligible for adjustment of status if you qualify for a medical waiver.
