Community Groups

  • Fairwood Task force
The Fairwood Task Force is a growing group of volunteers from various neighborhoods within the Fairwood community. Our goal is to help ensure a positive future for our area by taking the necessary action to improve the structure of our local government. Nearly three years of researching our options and talking with people from Fairwood has led us to pursue the proposal of a new City of Fairwood.
  • A Greater Renton-A Better Fairwood
Should Fairwood become a city? The "Go Fairwood" Task Force believes that prospect is "financially feasible". However, others have come to the conclusion that residents of the Fairwood & Cascade neighborhoods would be better served by supporting annexation to the City of Renton. This web site was created to provide information on all of the options that are available for the future of the Fairwood and Cascade areas, including annexation to the City of Renton
  • Benson Hill Community Progress Group
The Benson Hill Communities Progress Group (BHCpg) is an area wide advocacy citizens group working towards a satisfactory resolution to the annexation process. We have no affiliation to any government or commercial organization. Our web site serves as an exchange of information about the Benson Hill Annexation process.
