This project requires the contractor to provide a complete and comprehensive preventive maintenance program for the electrical distribution in the Capital Power Plant within the guidelines in the NETA Maintenance Testing Specifications for Electrical Power Distribution Equipment and Systems dated 2005. This project includes, but is not limited to all of the Electrical equipment in the West Refrigeration Plant, West Refrigeration Expansion, Boiler Plant and the East Refrigeration Plant. Award will be made on a best value basis including past performance and price. The award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract with an anticipated start date in Sept. 2008 for a one year period with four option year periods. A site visit is planned for May 22, 2008 at 10:00 am at the Capitol Power Plant. Exact location will be provided on request. Notice of at least 2 days prior to the site visit is required by the Contracting Officer.
