NLM staff can't answer questions about individual medical cases, provide second opinions, or recommend drugs or therapies. You must talk to your healthcare provider about these issues.

To find information on your topic, try the following resources:

• search MedlinePlus, the NLM's consumer health Web pages. It will link you to full-text information about diseases, conditions, and wellness issues at http://medlineplus.gov
  
  
• search MEDLINE the NLM's database of professional medical literature. Details can be found at http://www.nlm.nih.gov/services/usemedline.html
  
  
• search the Genetics Home Reference for information on genetic conditions at http://ghr.nlm.nih.gov/
  
  
• check your local public, medical, or university libraries to determine what other medical/health information services are available to you
