FAQ: Bibliographic Records in LocatorPlus
Question: What kinds of bibliographic records will I find in NLM LocatorPlus?
Answer:
- - NLM bibliographic records for serials, monographs, audiovisuals, computer software, electronic resources and other materials are available online via World Wide Web access to NLM LocatorPlus at http://locatorplus.gov
- - NLM LocatorPlus contains a mixture of cataloged and uncataloged materials, and includes records created by contributing special producer organizations.
- - To identify records of titles cataloged by NLM, click the MARC View tab and examine the full MARC 21 bibliographic record. NLM identifies cataloged records by adding the value "AUTH" in an NLM locally-defined MARC 21 999 field.
